DRS Class 37s no.37069 & 37059 were at Swindon again today, a week after their last appearance. They were hauling a Network Rail Test Train (1Q12) running from Bristol - Gloucester via Swindon and back then Bristol to London Paddington and Old Oak Common, the same train they hauled last time, due to appear at Swindon three times during the day. We start the video at Bruce Street Bridges not far from Swindon station on the Swindon - Gloucester line where we first see an HST (43159 & 43010) set arriving into Swindon from Gloucester. We then see the two 37s after leaving Swindon and thrashing and clagging away on their way to Gloucester on their 1st appearance of the day. Moving on we head to Swindon station were we see the two 37s arriving off the Gloucester line on their second appearance of the day. I didn't have time to set up as they were coming round the corner as I was getting out of the car, so this shot is hand held, I decided to use my tri-pod for the next few shots instead of the mono-pod for a change as I've never used it at this spot before. We then see a HST set (43195 & 43020) departing Swindon for the west before seeing the two 37s depart, with a bit of thrash just to get going and then rolling on past and over the points which could be heard moving back after the 37s left. We then move down to Swindon's East Yard where I was hoping to see the 37s on their way to London, I got myself all set up but then found out that they had already passed through 29 minutes early, so I was a bit disappointed about that, I did however manage to get a short shot of Class 59 no.59004 'Paul A. Hammond' which had broken down whilst working a stone train, I was told that she was only doing 2mph on full power so she must have been pretty knackered.

DRS Class 37s nos.37059 & 37069 hauled a Network Rail Test Train (1Q12) top & tailed running from Bristol to Gloucester via Swindon and the Golden Valley Line and back then from Bristol to London Paddington & Old Oak Common. In this video we start with the two 37s arriving into Swindon from the Gloucester line on their second appearance at Swindon of the day, 37059 leading. A HST set is then seen arriving from the west (43026 & 43033) while afterwards a Class 158 unit then arrives off the Gloucester line and heads into the bay platform. Afterwards another HST set is seen departing for Bristol (43169 & 43002), 37069 now leading, the pair are seen departing Swindon for Bristol, sadly without any thrash.

We take a trip to the Evesham Vale Light Railway which runs for about 1 mile through Evesham Country Park, Worcestershire to 15 inch gauge running from the railway's main station 'Twyford' up the line and round a loop to Evesham Vale Station with a short break then back to Twyford Station where the loco is then turned ready for its next train. As it was a bank holiday the line had two engines in steam, 0-4-0TT no.312 'St. Egwin' and ex-Rhyl Miniature Railway Albert Barnes & Co. 4-4-2 Atlantic no.103 'John'

In this video we are on board St. Egwins train on route back to Twyford Station, as we arrive into Twyford we see 'John' waiting to departing and as soon as we're in she is out. We then see 'St. Egwin' on the turntable being turned in readiness for her next train. 'John' is then seen arriving back into Twyford then moments later 'St. Egwin' departs, 'John' then seen after being turned running round her train ready for her next trip.
